When you are walking along the streets of Rhodos, you will see the snow-white houses around you. These are from the medieval age. The town has a beautiful view of the sea with its sandy beaches and clear water.

Come to see the palace of the Grand Master of the Knights
The Palace of the Grand Master of the Knights of Rhodes, also known as the Kastello is a medieval castle in the city of Rhodes, on the island of Rhodes in Greece. It is one of the few examples of Gothic architecture in Greece.
Administratively the island forms a separate municipality within the Rhodes regional unit, which is part of the South Aegean administrative region. The principal town of the island and seat of the municipality is Rhodes. It is located northeast of Crete, southeast of Athens and just off the Anatolian coast of Turkey. Rhodes’ nickname is The island of the Knights, named after the Knights of Saint John of Jerusalem, who once conquered the land.
Outside of the city of Rhodes, the island is dotted with small villages and spa resorts. There are mineral-rich spring water (and sometimes sea water) used to give medicinal baths and the spa resorts offer various health treatments.
The economy is tourist-oriented, and the most developed sector is service. Tourism has elevated Rhodes economically, compared to the rest of Greece.
Small industries process imported raw materials for local retail, though other industry includes agricultural goods production, fishery and winery.
